Future Perspective Trend Analysis

We are living in an age of radical transformation.

Thanks to a global economy, access to the Internet, and the explosion of mobile technology, we have—almost imperceptibly—been ushered into a new era where change happens so quickly that it’s become the norm.

We see this change everywhere: in how we communicate, what we do for a living, the values we hold, the ways in which we raise our children, manage our wellbeing and access information.

Burson-Marsteller has purposefully created the FUTURE Perspective Trend Analysis group to keep track of this ever-changing landscape on behalf of our consultants and our clients.

"My job is to look across all industries to understand what's happening in social, technological, economic, environmental and political arenas so that we can understand shifts that are coming that may influence consumers' values, attitudes and behaviours. I look for those insights and collaborate with consultants at Burson-Marsteller to turn them into concrete business propositions for our clients."
Elaine has written articles and presented her future insights both internally and externally on a broad range of topics such as consumer, technology, healthcare, communications and leadership. She delivers master classes on Trend Spotting. She publishes a quarterly trend newsletter called "Future Perspective" looking at emerging trends with a communications slant.
